LPS Version 1.2.0 Upgrade Instructions.
All current users of LPS version 1.1.0 are able to upgrade to LPS version 1.2.X for free.
The upgrade is installed via LPS' Upgrade feature. This is accessible by selecting
Edit -> Preferences -> General in LPS. This will display the General Preferences
Dialog. At the bottom of this dialog is a button labeled 'Check For Updates Now'.
Click this button to check for the update. LPS will connect to the server and display
the available updates.
You will have to download two updates to install LPS version 1.2.0. The first will be
an upgrade to version 1.1.1. Select this update and click the 'Install' button. LPS
will download the update and install it. Once the install in complete you will need
to restart LPS.
Once you have restarted LPS, open the General Preferences Dialog and check for
updates again. This time an update to version 1.2.0 will be available. Select this
update and click the 'Install' button. This will download and install LPS version 1.2.0.
Once the install is complete, you will need to restart LPS.

Note For Mac Users of LPS Pro
|
On the Mac, LPS Pro version 1.1 does not copy the new application jar files to the correct folder.
This results in the upgrade from version 1.1 to version 1.1.1 not being fully completed. You
will need to manually move the three application files to the correct folder in order to
finish the upgrade.
The following steps describe how to move the files:
1) There are three files that need to be moved. They are:
fs.jar
Engine.jar
Icons.jar
After you download and install the 1.1.1 update these three files will be located in the LPS Pro
folder. By default this is a sub folder of your Applications folder.
2) After opening the LPS Pro folder and locating the files the next step is to open the LPS Pro
application folder. To do this, Control-click on the LPS Pro application icon. A popup menu
will be displayed. Select the 'Show Package Contents' option. This will open a new folder.
3) Within this folder open the Contents folder; then open the Resources folder; then open the
Java folder. This folder contains three .jar files that you will be replacing with the
three .jar files located in the main LPS Pro folder.
4) Drag the three .jar files from the LPS Pro folder into the Java folder. When asked if you
want to replace the old files with the new ones, answer yes for each one.
This will complete the upgrade from version 1.1.0 to 1.1.1. You can now close the folders
and restart LPS.
