Instrument Mapping
Instrument Mapping compliment the shortcut feature introduced in version 1.2 by allowing you
to specify names for instruments that LPS will recognize and associated with instruments in
its library. You can have LPS recognize 'S436' as 'Source Four 36' for example. Your paperwork
will display S436, but LPS will associate this with the Source Four 36 in its library. This
lets you display the instruments how you want them to be displayed.
