Patterns - Prismatics

Rosco developed Prismatics to combine abstract multi-colored accents with the depth and texturing of Image Glass. Made with Permacolor dichroic chips fused onto an hi-temperature glass base, these unique new gobos project spectacular color and depth. In sharp focus like a shattered spectrum, or used as softly diffused color blends, Prismatics provide yet another tool for Lighting Designers to create amazing effects. Combine with other steel or glass patterns or rotate for varied animated effects.

SPECIFICATIONS
Substrate: 4.5mm hi temperature glass.
Max Wattage: 575/600 watt ellipsoidal
1200 watt moving light
(Higher wattage ellipsoidal may be used however excessive temperatures may cause premature breakage)
Available Sizes: Std B (86mm), BG (79m)
Moving Light sizes available by special order
Usage Notes:
1. Prismatics must be used with an Iris Slot Gobo holder in the iris slot of an ellipsoidal luminaire.
2. Prismatics for moving lights are supplied without mounting rings and must be installed as would be any single layer glass gobo.
3. Prismatics can be combined with steel patterns in the same Iris Slot gobo holder or may be used in separate holders to achieve differing focal points.
4. When using Prismatics in combination with steel gobos, the steel pattern must be furthest from the light source. If installed incorrectly, the light defracting through Prismatic will completely obscure the steel pattern image and prevent any sharp focus on the steel design.
5. Prismatics may be used with higher wattage luminaires than indicated above. However excessive heat may cause premature color degradation or glass breakage.
